One of my favorite holidays is around the corner. Christmas was my favorite holiday when I was a child, it is my favorite holiday now. It brings me so much joy from cutting a Christmas tree, decorating it with my hubby and girls, to gathering with my whole family and Christmas Eve Kids Play that we go to every year. I absolutely love gathering with my big family! Usually my mom, my aunts and I make dessert for the tea. Here is a perfect dessert idea called Jello Cake Dessert For Christmas. I made this jello cake for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it, I am planning on making it again for Christmas Eve. It is so delicious and not too sweet, and it looks amazing. Even tho it takes some patience to make this dessert but it is so worth it.
Jello Cake Dessert For Christmas
Ingredients
- 9 - 1/4oz envelopes unflavered gelatin
- 5 - 3oz boxes of jello (strawberry, rasberry or cherry)
- 2 - 14oz cans condensed milk
- cooking spray or coconut oil
Note
When repeating step #2 let the jello mixture cool down for 10 minutes before pouring it on a white layer.
Directions
Step 1
| 1. Prepare space in the refrigerator for your Jello Cake. Using cooking spray or coconut oil, grease 9 by 13 inch baking pan then using paper towel gently wipe off the excess. |
Step 2
| 2. Take 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin and sprinkle into a small bowl. Add 1/4 cup very cold water and stir it with a spoon to blend. Wait one minute then add 1 cup boiling water and 1 package of jello. Gently mix it all together until jello dissolves. Pour it into the baking pan then place it in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes. |
Step 3
| Now lets make your white layer: Sprinkle 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup very cold water stir it with a spoon then wait for a minute. |
Step 4
| Take another bowl, mix 1 can of condensed milk with 1 cup boiling water. Pour it into the gelatin mixture then add 1/2 cup boiling water gently mix it with a spoon then set aside to cool for 10 - 20 minutes. |
Step 5
| Take out your jello pan out of the fridge then slowly pour 1 cup of the condensed milk mixture all over the top. Move the pan around so the mixture can cover jello then place it in the fridge for another 20 to 30 minutes (each batch of condensed milk mixture is plenty for 2 to 3 layers). |
Step 6
Repeat step 2,3,4,5 until you have 5 red layers of jello and 4 layers of white cream. Keep in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

Hi Katie! I am sorry it turned out that way, did you let the white layer sit in the fridge for 30 minutes before before adding red layer?
