Do you like crockpot recipes? I do! I just love the idea of combining ingredients and clicking ON button and not worry about what to make for dinner. Here is a light and easy crockpot macaroni and cheese recipe you can make in a crockpot. I found this recipe in the local library, in this book called “Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood”. Hope you will like this one.
Ingredients:
8oz elbow macaroni cooked
12oz can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups whole milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1tsp salt
Pepper to taste
5 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Dash of paprika
Spray a large crockpot with a cooking spray.
Add and mix cooked macaroni, milks, eggs, butter, salt, pepper and 4 1/2 cups of the grated cheese.
Spread 1/2 cup of cheese over the top.
Cook on low heat for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Serve when its hot.
What I did to make it look more appetizing? I placed into the oven proof dish and broil it on high until golden color. Serve it when its hot. Garnish with more cheese and bacon, and greens.
BON APPETITE!!!
