This Delicious Barbecue Chicken Sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches I have ever tried. It reminds me so much of summer. Those toasted buns spread with butter, cool and crunchy cilantro slaw, and the king of this dish, mouth-watering barbecue chicken, they all screaming out “Eat Me!”. I think I am drooling again. 😀 I am so glad I found this recipe on Pinterest.
Ingredients
1 whole Cut Up Fryer Chicken
Salt And Pepper, to taste
2 Tablespoons Canola Oil
1 bottle (large) Barbecue Sauce
1 whole Onion, Sliced
8 whole Cloves Garlic (more To Taste)
Slaw:
1/2 head Cabbage, Sliced Thin
1/2 head Purple Cabbage, Sliced Thin
1/2 cup Whole Milk
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 bunch Cilantro, Roughly Chopped

Combine shredded purple and green cabbage in a big bowl.
In the separate bowl combine the rest of the ingredients.
Mix it will and pour over cabbage.
Mix to combine, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
When serving, simply add cilantro leaves. (optional)
