Happy Late Easter Everyone!
Jesus is Alive!
I know it is kinda late but today I would like to share an Easter Garden that my daughter made few days before Easter.
I found this fun Easter activity on Pinterest. We both wanted to recreate this Empty Tomb Garden or some people call it Calvary’s Hill, because we just finish reading Resurrection of Jesus in our favorite book called The Beginning Reader’s Bible Illustrated by Marijke ten Cate.
As you might know we love to do book activities after we read books.
That way we can remember better the stories we read.
This Easter Idea is perfect for book activity and Easter Project.
My daughter enjoyed this activity.
I hope you will enjoy it too!
If you make this Easter Garden with your munchkins PLEASE tag my name @lovekeil and #munchkintimeblog on Instagram, I would LOVE to see your creation.
To make Easter Garden DIY Tutorial – Easter Activities for Kids you will need:
A big planting pot – I got mine from Dollar Tree
Potting soil
Wheat or Grass seeds
Small baby pot
Rocks
Fill your pot with potting soil.
Place baby pot on one side and cover the top with soil.
Place small rocks around the tomb.
Ani decided to decorate her garden with some leaves.
Place a big rock to cover tomb.
Place 3 crosses on top of the hill just like illustrated in the book.
Now your Garden is complete.
I hope you liked this Easter Activity for kids.
If you enjoyed this Easter Garden activity please share it with your friends on Pinterest.
