Step 1

Using gloves, slice jalapeños in half lengthwise. Using a spoon scrape out the seeds inside of the peppers. Rinse in a cold water.

Step 2

Inside the bowl, combine bacon pieces, cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well blended.

Step 3

Using a spoon fill each pepper half with the cheese mixture. Using a bowl combine flour, salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder, give it a good stir. Pour milk into a bowl.

Step 4

Dip jalapeno into the flour mixture, then milk, and then back into the flour mixture. Place jalapeño pepper on a baking sheet with a rack. Let rest for about 10-15 minutes. This step is very important.

Step 5

Add breadcrumbs into a bowl. Dip floured jalapeno peppers into the milk and then into the bread crumbs. Place peppers back on the rack and let them rest for few more minutes.

Step 6

Heat oil to 350 degrees.  Dip jalapeños into the milk and the bread crumbs for one last time, let rest for 5 minutes before frying. Working in batches, fry peppers until golden brown color, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 7

Transfer onto a plate lined with paper towel. Enjoy!
