Chicken Marinade with Honey and Soy Sauce - Chicken thighs marinated and grilled to a perfection. This is one of the best chicken thigh marinates.
– 2-3 lb chicken thighs Marinade Ingredients – 3 tablespoons soy sauce – 3 tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice – 5 tablespoons honey – 5 cloves garlic minced or grated – 1 tablespoon fresh ginger finely chopped – 2 tablespoons olive oil or oil of your choice – 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce I use 1 tablespoon – 1 teaspoon sea salt – 1/4 teaspoon white pepper – 2 tablespoons cilantro For Glaze – 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
Whisk all marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. Pour half the marinade (about 3/4 cup) into a sealed zipper bag or container and add chicken thighs. Marinate for 3-6 hours in the fridge or over the night.
Grease the grill with oil, and preheat to high heat. Add chicken thighs and grill for 8-10 minutes, flipping once, or until thermometer reads 160F. Brush with glaze over the chicken and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve with grilled veggies.
