– 1 cup sugar
– ½ cup butter, softened
– ½ cup buttermilk
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 eggs
– 2 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
– 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
– ½ teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
Using a mixer whisk cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl on medium speed until fluffy. Gradually beat powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Using a frosting pipe, pipe frosting on one cookie then place another cookie on top. Roll each whoopie cookie in crushed candy cane or a garnish of your choice. Enjoy!
