Prep Time: 20 mins

COOK TIME: 20 mins

– 1 cup milk – 4 tablespoons butter cubed – 3 1/4 cup flour – 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast – 1/4 cup sugar – 1 teaspoon sea salt – 2 eggs 1 for the dough & 1 egg for brushing the rolls before baking – 13 oz Nutella Sugar Glaze – 1 cup powdered sugar – 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoon milk

Heat butter and milk in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave until the butter melts. Shouldn’t be more than a minute or so. Set it aside.

Step 1

In the bowl of a stand mixer, add flour, yeast, salt, and sugar and mix to combine. Then add the egg and milk and continue to mix for another 5 minutes using the paddle attachment. The dough should be sticky.

Step 2

Grease your hands with oil and grab the dough and form it into a ball, then grease the bowl with oil and return the dough back into the bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and allow the dough to rest for 30-40 minutes until it has bulked up. Keep it in a warm, draft-free area!

Step 3

Transfer the dough to a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a rectangle or square shape.

Step 4

Scoop out the Nutella filling and spread it out evenly onto the surface of the dough.

Step 5

Using hands roll the dough into a roll, then cut it into 1  inch rolls using a sharp knife.

Step 6

Place each formed roll onto a greased baking sheet. Once they’ve all been made, cover them with a plastic wrap and let them rest for about 1 hour.

Step 7

Once the stuffed Nutella rolls are almost done resting, preheat the oven to 350F. Brush each roll with egg wash and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden.

Step 8

Drizzle sugar glaze over the Nutella rolls.  Enjoy with a glass of cold milk or hot coffee, and enjoy!
