– 5-8 chicken drumsticks pat dried with paper towel
– 2 tablespoon avocado or grape seed oil
– 1 onion chopped
– 3-5 garlic cloves minced
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup dry white wine
– 1 1/2 cup chicken broth I use Homemade Golden Chicken Broth
– salt & pepper to taste
– chopped greens for garnish like parsley
Pour oil into the Instant Pot and set it on a sauté mode. Add chicken drumsticks and cook on both sides for about 6 minutes or until golden color, transfer to a plate.
Into the instant pot add onion and saute for about 5 minutes, stirring few times. Next, add garlic and flour, cook for about 1 minute stirring non stop.
Slowly whisk in white wine, smoothing out any lumps. When wine starts boiling pour in chicken broth and season with salt and pepper to taste, bring it to a boil.
