– 1 large red onion sliced into 1/4 inch rings – 2/3 cup red wine vinegar – 2/3 cup water – 1 tablespoon kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon organic sugar

To make pickled red onion, first slice red onion and place it in the glass jar or container.

a sauce pan mix vinegar, water, salt and sugar and bring it to a gentle boil over medium/high heat.
