How to Make Chocolate Chip Pancakes - make homemade pancakes using no dairy & flour. Delicious pancakes from scratch, they taste better than store bough pancakes & so much healthier too.
Using a blender, combine 1 ½ cups of almond milk, 3 eggs, 3 teaspoons of maple syrup, 1 ½ cups almond flour, 1 ½ cups of old-fashioned rolled oats, 2 teaspoons of baking powder & 1 teaspoon of sea salt.
Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Then pour it into a bowl and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, using a spatula fold in ½ cup of chocolate chips. Using a nonstick skillet over medium heat, preheat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil.
Pour about 2 tablespoons of batter for each pancake into the heated skillet and cook on both sides until golden brown color about 2-3 minutes on each side. When you see bubbles forming & popping on the top that is when you can flip the pancakes on the other side.
Serve pancakes with chocolate syrup or maple syrup. Enjoy!
Notes
These pancakes freeze amazing in airtight container or freezer friendly zip bag.
Use honey or sugar if you don't have maple syrup on hands.
Double this recipe and freeze for busy mornings, then use a toaster to heat them thru.
