Cheesy Hot  Beef Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

– 6 hoagie rolls – 2 tablespoons avocado oil or any oil of your choice – 1 lb ground beef – 1 small onion finely chopped – 2 teaspoons Mccormick's Montreal Steak Spice – 1 green bell pepper finely chopped – 1 clove garlic minced – 1 1/4 cup cream of mushroom soup or 10.5 oz. can of store bought cream of mushroom soup – 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce – salt and pepper to taste – 1-2 cups cheddar cheese grated

Step 1

Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet with some oil.

Step 2

Season with Montreal Steak Spice before adding the bell pepper and garlic.

Step 3

Pour the mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce into the mixture. Stir and cook for 5 minutes or until it thickens slightly.

Step 4

Turn off the heat and stir in the cheese.

Step 5

Spoon the filling into your hoagie rolls and enjoy!

The ground beef filling can be made a couple of days ahead of time. Just keep it in a sealed container in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the sandwiches.
