Grilled Pork Kabobs Marinade

YIELD

TIME

20 mins

4 servings

INGREDIENTS

– 2-3 lb Carnita Pork cut into 1in pieces, fat removed (I buy it at Winco) – 1 big onion sliced – salt and pepper to taste – 2 cups red wine Sangria

Step 1

Cut carnitas pork into big chunks, place the meat into a big bowl. Slice big onion into slices and add it to the bowl with meat. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Step 2

One of the best ways to season meat is to use 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt per 1 lb, so if YOU have 3 lb of meat season with 3 teaspoon of Kosher salt. Hope this is not confusing! Mix well, cover and marinade in the fridge over the night or for at least 3-4 hours.

Step 3

One hour before grilling skewers, pour in red sangria wine.  Make sure the wine covers the meat after you mix it well. Marinade for 1 hour.

Step 4

About 30 minutes before grilling pork shish kabobs, get your charcoal ready by spraying them with charcoal fluid and setting them on fire. Let the charcoal burn until they turn white color thats when you know that they are ready for grilling.
