INGREDIENTS

For the Steak ▢2 ribeye steaks 2 inch thickness, room temperature ▢2 tablespoons steak seasoning or to taste Garlic Butter ▢½ cup butter salted, room temperature ▢2 cloves garlic finely chopped or minced ▢½ teaspoon thyme fresh, finely chopped ▢½ teaspoon rosemary fresh, finely chopped ▢2 teaspoon parsley fresh, finely chopped ▢sea salt & pepper to taste

Step 1

Preheat an outdoor grill to the highest heat. This is so that as soon as the meat hits the grill, it’ll sizzle and form an immediate crust on the outside to look in the moisture.

Step 2

Grease the grill with avocado spray (you can also use olive oil or avocado oil if you don’t have spray).

Step 3

Generously season the steaks with the steak seasoning, making sure to rub it all over as evenly as possible.

Step 4

Sear the steaks on the grill for 3-4 minutes on each side. Let the flames char the meat while the inside cooks to your liking. I like it to reach an internal temperature of 130F.

Step 5

Remove the steaks from the grill and place them on a cutting board or plate. Let them rest for 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to settle.

Step 6

In a small bowl, mix the butter, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spoon 1 or 2 tablespoons of the compound butter onto each steak before slicing and serving, and watch it melt right into the already juicy steak.

Step 7

Use a steak knife to slice the steak and serve alongside your favorite holiday side dishes!
