Ingredients
  

  • club soda I used Italian soda from Fred Meyers
  • half and half optional
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • ice

Instructions
 

To make blueberry syrup:

  • In a sauce pan combine blueberries, water and sugar. Bring it to a boil then reduce the heat to medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low heat and simmer for 10 more minutes.
  • Strain the berry mixture into a heat-proof bowl, and let it cool. Discard or eat the berries.

To make Italian Soda with homemade Blueberry Syrup:

  • Fill cups with ice. Pour 1/4 part blueberry syrup. Add club soda followed by little splash of half and half.
  • Stir with a straw and enjoy!
