Juicy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs made with just 3 simple ingredients! Boneless chicken thighs are coated with brown sugar and Italian seasoning, then baked until tender and caramelized for an easy family dinner.
Preheat the oven. Preheat the oven to 425F. Prepare your baking dish or sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper.
Prep the chicken. Pat the chicken thighs very dry with paper towels. This helps the brown sugar seasoning stick to the chicken instead of sliding off while it bakes.
Make the seasoning. In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar and dry Italian dressing mix until evenly combined.
Coat the chicken. Add the chicken thighs to the seasoning mixture and toss until each piece is generously coated on all sides.
Arrange. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet or baking dish, leaving a little space between each piece.
Bake. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the thickest part reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
Rest and serve. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Spoon some of the flavorful pan juices over the chicken and enjoy!
