    Oven Baked Asparagus and Bacon Wraps

    Aren't these Oven Baked Asparagus and Bacon Wraps look delicious?

    This Easy Asparagus Recipe is beyond delicious.  It roasts in sugary sauce, it will melt in your mouth with every bite. Perfect Thanksgiving side dish!

    This is one of my favorite baked asparagus recipe.

    Quick Notes & Tips

    • Make this dish ahead by wrapping the asparagus bundles and pouring the sauce over asparagus, then place the baking dish inside the fridge until ready to bake.
    • Serve with my favorite dishes Scalloped Potatoes and Baked Chicken Thigh Recipe – Using Only 3 Ingredients.
    • Store leftovers asparagus in airtight container inside the fridge for up to 2 days.

    How to Bake Asparagus?

    First, preheat the oven to 400F.

    Then, separate the asparagus into 6 bundles.

    After, wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bundle ( if you want you can secure it with a toothpick).

    Next, place asparagus bundles into an oven dish like casserole dish.

    The ingredients for the sauce inside the sauce pan: butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

    In a medium saucepan bring to a boil brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt, and pepper.

    Warm sauce is poured over the asparagus bundles wrapped in bacon, ready to go into the oven.

    Now pour it over the asparagus and bacon wraps.

    How Long Do You Bake Asparagus?

    Place the dish in the oven at 400F and bake asparagus for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked. Serve warm with a sprinkle of black pepper. Enjoy!

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 lb asparagus
    • 6 bacon slices
    • ⅓ cup light brown sugar
    • ½ cup butter
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
    • ground pepper for garnish, to taste

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat the oven to 400F. Separate the asparagus into 6 bundles.
    • Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bundle (if you want you can secure it with a toothpick). Place it in a low-sided oven dish.
    • In a medium saucepan bring to a boil brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt, and pepper.
    • When the sauce begins to boil, pour the sauce over the asparagus and bacon wraps.
    • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked. Garnish with freshly ground black pepper to taste, serve warm. Enjoy!

    Notes
