Discover 3 New Ways to Make Hot Cross Buns

Discover 3 New Ways to Make Hot Cross BunsDiscover 3 New Ways to Make Hot Cross Buns – these 3 ingredients will transform your hot cross buns into an Incredibly Delicious Easter Tradition.  Here are 3 ingredients or 3 ways you can make your Cross Buns not ONLY fluffy, yummy and beautiful but also colorful, healthyish and irresistibly delicious!

Way #1Chia Seeds!!! Add chia seeds when baking these buns.  Chis seeds are an amazing source of omega-3 fatty acids, extremely rich in antioxidants, and an excellent source of  fiber, iron, and calcium. They taste like poppy seeds in a way & they are so healthy for YOU and YOUR little munchkins.  I absolutely love adding chia seeds when baking, like in this Delicious Banana Bread Recipe.

Way #2 An Apricot Jam!!! I got this idea from one of the Food Magazines called The Good Housekeeping.  After YOU bake hot cross buns, brush them with an apricot jam after they cool. The Hot Cross Buns and the apricot jam taste so good together!!! It will Surprise YOU!

Way #3Sprinkles!!! I mean who doesn’t like sprinkles! After brushing your cross buns with an apricot jam sprinkle some sprinkle over the top, then pipe crosses.  You will love the NEW Colorful Look!
