Easy Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream - Learn how to grill peaches for dessert with this quick and easy summer recipe. Ripe, juicy peaches are caramelized on the grill and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel. It's the best way to enjoy fresh peaches all season long!

Easy Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream

Grilled peaches with ice cream is a simple and elegant dessert that looks like it should be served at a fine dining restaurant but suitable for a backyard BBQ!

Grilling fruit is one of my favorite ways to bring out their natural sugars while delivering a bit of a smoky, charred flavor as well. It’s delicious.

We’re serving our grilled peaches with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of dulce de leche on top. And because this no bake peach dessert doesn’t require any heating up the kitchen, it’s the perfect refreshing treat to serve on a hot day.

Use your extra peaches to make this peach cobbler cake or these peach pie bars for tomorrow’s dessert. Or grill some extra peaches, cut them up, and add them to a bowl of fresh fruit salad!

    Why You’ll Love This Recipe

    • It’s fancy, yet easy!
    • A great way to enjoy seasonal peaches.
    • The sweet, juicy peaches combined with vanilla ice cream is amazing.
    • Any excuse to grill fruit is a recipe worth keeping!

Ingredients for this No-Bake Peach Dessert

Ingredients for this No-Bake Peach Dessert
    • Ripe peaches: No need to peel them. Wash, dry, cut in halves, and remove the pits.
    • Avocado oil spray: You’ll need this to spray the peaches so they don’t stick to the grill.
    • Roasted nuts: Your choice of walnuts, pecans, or almonds. Crushed nuts add such a great textural balance. Sometimes I like to add a combination of all three kinds.
    • Vanilla bean ice cream: I use my favorite homemade vanilla bean ice cream for this dessert, but you can certainly use your favorite store brand.
    • Dulce de leche: A drizzle of this to finish off the dessert! You can also use caramel sauce if you prefer.
    • Mint leaves: For garnish and pretty presentation.

Step 5: Serve each one with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a sprinkle of nuts, and a drizzle of dulce de leche over top. I like to add a couple of mint leaves or flaky sea salt to each one before serving.

    Cooking Tips

    • This easy grilled peaches recipe can be paired with your favorite ice cream flavor. Peach ice cream, chocolate ice cream, or even cookies and cream!
    • Peaches can be served hot off the grill or at room temperature. So, they’re great for making ahead.
    • Toast the nuts by adding them to a skillet (no oil needed) and cook them over medium heat until the oils are released and they are fragrant. Continue swirling the pan as they cook so they don’t burn.
    • For a nut free version, sprinkle with coconut flakes instead.
    • To make drizzling the dulce de leche or caramel easier, add it to a zip log bag and cut the tip off one of the corners to make a small hole (like a piping bag).

What can I serve with grilled peaches at a BBQ or party?

    Grilled peaches pair well with:

    • Grilled meats like Grilled Pork Kabobs, Grilled Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs Skewers, or Juicy Grilled Beef Kebabs
    • Cheese boards or platter - like this Easy Cheese Platter
    • Salads like Best Caesar salad or Spinach Strawberry Salad with Pecans
    • Desserts like shortcakes or Strawberry Galette
    • Non-alcoholic drinks, such as:
      • Sparkling water with fresh mint and lime like this Easy Mojito drink.
      • Peach iced tea or black iced tea
      • Lemonade (Huckleberry Lemonade, or try lavender or strawberry versions)
      • Fruit spritzers with soda water like this Watermelon Juice Refresher

    Recipe FAQs

Do peaches need to be ripe before grilling?

They should be ripe, but there’s no need for them to be overripe. The grilling and the heat will release their natural juices and sugars, but if they’re too underripe, you won’t get them as sweet and juicy as you’d like.

Can I grill peaches without an outdoor grill?

Yes! If you have a grill pan, this works just as great on the stove. Or, if you happen to have an indoor grill, go for it.

Should I peel the peaches before grilling?

No. I love the rustic look of keeping the skin on, plus it’s easier to handle, as they won’t be slipping and sliding on the plate.

Can I make this recipe dairy-free or vegan?

Sure you can. Use your favorite dairy-free ice cream (coconut ice cream is amazing) and use a vegan caramel sauce.

Making a date caramel sauce is all the rage these days, and tastes just like the original.

How long do you grill peaches?

About 3–4 minutes cut-side down, then 2–3 minutes skin-side down over medium-high heat, until grill marks appear and the fruit softens slightly.
